Digital dashboards
Everybody knows the normal, simple car dashboards. A nice needle showing your speed, the amount of revolutions per minute, how far you drove, etcetera. It's simple, commonly used and for the manufacturer easy and cheap to produce.
These days however manufacturers start to opt for fully customizable TFT screens to display the car's information. Before these screens, little digital displays for the speedometer and odometer were already used. Is a complete digital dashboard cluster new? Surprisingly, several cars of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s were outfitted with digital dashboards. And in that time there were no TFTs yet!
How do they look and from which car are they from, this page tries to keep track of all these 'old' digital dashboards. Some have even installation information available, might you want modify it to install in your own car.
